Other popular eateries in the area include Fujiyama Japanese Hibachi & Sushi, Le Peep, Smoking Fins, Lansdowne Arms, and Los Dos Portrillos.
 
When you live in Highlands Ranch, you are automatically a member of the Highlands Ranch Homeowners Association. For only $640 a year, you have access to four recreation centers, exercise facilities, swimming pools, tennis courts, parks, miles of trails, and dog parks, not to mention the summer concert series and movies in the backcountry area.
 

Things to Do

Since its inception in 1884, the Highlands Ranch Mansion has been home to various Colorado business people, ranchers, and other families. Tours of the ranch's antique barns, windmills, and other structures are available, as are pleasant strolls around the mansion's gardens. This museum hosts the Highlands Ranch Pioneer Days in September. Children can learn about their community's past through this event's fun and interactive activities. The K1 Speed Go Karting indoor track is the perfect place to spend a fun afternoon racing in style. This indoor pastime will be a welcome relief whether you're looking to combat the summer heat or the winter cold.
 
With activities for both kids and dogs, Dad Clark Park is a great place to let the whole family burn off some energy. Throughout Highlands Ranch, you'll find a network of hiking paths that pass by parks, the Highlands Ranch Mansion, and the residential neighborhoods in the area's backcountry. Take advantage of the area's 70+ miles of trails for biking, dog walking, or casual strolling. The Backcountry Wilderness Area is one of Highlands Ranch's most prized features. A total of 26 miles of trails are available for use by HRCA members, and a wide range of backcountry activities are open to the public.
